木莓根(《乾坤生意》)，三月藨根(《草木便方》)。
【来源】
为蔷薇科植物悬钩子的根或根皮。植物形态详"悬钩子"条。
【采集】
夏、秋采挖，洗净或剥取根皮，晒干。
【药材】
干燥的根长约50～90厘米，粗约2～3厘米，皮厚约3～6毫米。外表灰棕色或灰黄色。质坚硬。断面白色，有菊花纹。 产于四川、陕西。
【性味】
①《本草拾遗》："味苦，平，无毒。" ②《草木便方》："苦涩，平。"
【功用主治】
治吐血，痔血，血崩，带下，泻、痢，遗精，腰痛，疟疾。 ①《本草拾遗》："根皮：主子死腹中不下，破血杀虫毒，卒下血，妇人赤带下，久患痢，不问赤白脓血，腹痛，并浓煮服之。" ②《草木便方》："根：固精。" ③《四川中药志》："治吐血，痔出血，赤白带下，月经不调，跌打损伤；止遗精，疗虫牙痛及肾亏劳伤。"
【用法与用量】
内服：煎汤，0.3～1两。
【宜忌】
《四川中药志》："体虚湿热郁滞者及孕妇忌服。"
【选方】
①治血崩不止：木莓根四两，酒一碗。煎七分，空心温服。(《乾坤生意》) ②治小儿麻疹后续发脓痂疹或湿疹：三月藨根半斤，和猪腿胫骨炖服。(《重庆草药》) ③治感冒：鲜山莓根七钱至一两，水煎服。 ④治泄泻、久痢：鲜山莓根七钱至一两，水煎服。 ⑤治腰痛：干山莓根一两，肖梵天花根一两，水煎服。(③方以下出《福建中草药》) ⑥治疟疾：山莓根皮一至三钱，煮鸡蛋三个，发病前一小时吃蛋喝汤。(《陕西中草药》)
