clearing Summer-Heat
清法之一，用于治疗各种暑热病证的治法。清暑法适用于夏季感受暑邪所致暑热病证,证见发热，烦躁,□出，口渴，胸脘满闷，小便不利等。常用的清暑药有石膏、知母、鲜荷叶、西瓜翠皮、石斛、麦冬等。暑为阳邪，其性炎热，且易伤气耗津。暑多挟湿，所以清暑法的运用又有清热祛暑、清暑利湿、清暑益气(养阴)等具体治法。
清热祛暑 适用于以暑热偏盛病证的治法。证见身热，烦躁，□多，口渴，面垢齿燥，或身热，口渴不甚，头目不清，昏眩微胀，治宜清暑解热，常用方有白虎汤或清络饮。
清暑利湿 适用于暑邪挟湿证的治法。证见身热心烦,口渴□出，小便短赤，胸脘满闷，或呕吐腹泻等,宜清暑利湿，常用方如六一散。
清暑益气（养阴） 适用于暑热伤气（耗津）之证的治法。证见身热□多，口渴心烦，体倦少气，脉虚数等，宜清暑益气养阴。常用方如清暑益气汤。
临床注意事项 使用清暑法需了解兼证的有无及其主次轻重，如暑病挟湿，暑重湿轻者，湿易从热化，用药不宜过于温燥，以免燥伤津液，如湿重暑轻，暑热易为湿遏，甘寒滋腻之剂，又当慎用，以免湿邪缠绵不去。
