In the past decade,systematic evolution of ligands by exponential enrichment (SELEX) technology has been under development,and is a general approach for identification of aptamers or oligonucleotide ligands that bind with high affinity and specificity to a wide rang of selected molecules on their versatility.

Aptamers are short single stranded DNA or RNA molecules, which are evolved from an in vitro selection process known as SELEX (Systematic Evolution of Ligands by Exponential Enrichment), a high-flux screening technique that involves the progressive selection of highly specific ligands by repeated rounds of selection and amplification from a large random synthetic nucleic acid library.
指数式富集的配基系统进化(Systematic Evolution of Ligands by Exponential Enrichment, SELEX)技术是一种新的高通量生物文库筛选技术,应用大容量的随机寡核苷酸文库(ssDNA文库和RNA文库),结合PCR体外扩增技术,以指数级富集与靶分子特异结合的寡核苷酸,经过反复的体外筛选、扩增,最终获得的寡核苷酸配基(aptamer)基于形成的空间结构与靶分子呈高特异性和高亲和力的结合。

Objective:To develop a rapid and efficient cell-systematic evolution of ligands by exponenticl enrichment(SELEX) technique for micro-sample by introducing the capillary electrophoresis procedure.
