丰宁─隆化深断裂带系内蒙地轴南缘东西向大断裂的一部分，表现为一条复杂的构造一岩浆岩带，在漫长的地质历史时期中，先后经历了五台末期角闪岩相韧性逆冲、吕梁晚期绿片岩相脆一韧性斜冲、海西晚期绿片岩相韧一脆性斜冲及燕山中期脆性断裂活动等骤变阶段。

丰隆 经穴名。出《灵枢·经脉》。属足阳明胃经。足阳明络穴。在小腿前外侧，当外踝尖上8寸，条口外，距胫骨前缘二横指。布有腓浅神经及胫前动、静脉分支。主治头痛眩晕，咳嗽多痰，气喘，胸痛，癫狂，痫症，下肢浮肿，腿膝酸痛，下肢痿痹，高血压等。直刺1-1.5寸。艾炷灸3-7壮；或艾条灸5-15分钟。
