骨组织的恶性肿瘤。较常见。本病的3/4发生于10~25岁,最小年龄为5岁,男性较女性高两倍。肿瘤好发于长管状骨的干骺端,偶见于骨干,最多见于股骨的下端和胫骨上端,其次为股骨和肱骨上端,很少见于腓骨、骨盆和椎骨。肿瘤部位的疼痛是本病突出的症状,因肿瘤侵蚀和溶解骨皮质所致。最初疼痛为间断性,几周后发展为持续性,下肢肿瘤可有避痛性跛行。瘤体增大,造成关节活动受限和废用性肌萎缩。全身症状为发热、不适、体重化、贫血以致衰竭,个别病例肿瘤增长很快,早期就发生肺转移瘤,致全身症状恶化。治疗骨肉瘤应行根治手术。
