    分子式C12H12N2O3,分子量232.22。又称鲁米那。白色结晶粉末。无臭微苦。熔点174~178℃。微溶于水,溶于热水,乙醇、乙醚、氯仿、氢氧化钠和碳酸钠溶液。水溶液呈酸性。是持续时间较长的镇静安眠药,还用于高血压、恶心、呕吐、甲状腺机能亢进等病的治疗,还有抗惊厥作用,可治疗癫痫和焦虑症等。可由乙基苯基丙二酸二乙酯与尿素在乙醇钠作用下经缩合反应制得。
