性质:通过一些只能在有氧存在的环境中才能生长的好氧细菌对有机污水进行处理的过程。废水中的有机物在好氧细菌产生的酶的作用下进行生化反应,有机物中的C、N、P、S等元素被转化或氧化成CO2、NH3、亚硝酸盐、硝酸盐、硫酸盐等,同时部分合成为新的原生质为细菌生长、繁殖提供营养物质。好氧消化法不产生带臭味的物质,所需的时间短,可处理大多数有机废物。一般适用于有机物浓度不太高的废水中,但必须保证足够的氧以保证生物氧化过程中对氧的需求。常用的好氧生物处理法包括活性污泥法、生物过滤法、污水灌溉、生物氧化塘法等。
