This paper investigates the fracture problem of the silver-tube detonating cord during the vibration test for, which is a new type of pyrotechnic system used for preventing the harm of the radio-frequency and electromagnetic radiation, and more particularly, investigates the mechanism and the cause of the said fracture problem, as well as the measures taken for improvement.

Combining practice at Nanfen Open Pit and applying statistical analysis,the paper introduces the measuring,analyzing and calculating of reliability of three types of detonating points between detonating cord and nonel tube.
