In view of the ecological problems in the development process of Beijing and other cities,and the limitations of the existing urban ecology achievements in researching scope,on the basis of analysis of the hinterland s connotation and evolution,this article firstly puts forward the scientific concept,urban eco-hinterland,and discusses the urban eco-hinterland s structure in the case of Beijing.
