营 battalion 由若干个连编成的军队一级组织。通常隶属于团或旅。为高级战术分队。一般在团的编成内遂行战斗任务,有时也可独立遂行战斗任务。依任务、装备和编成,分为步兵营、摩托化(机械化)步兵营、坦克营、炮兵营、导弹营、空降兵营、工兵营、通信营、防化营、汽车营等。 在中国,汉代已将在一定地区驻屯和在京城宿卫的军队编组为营。三国、晋、隋、唐的禁军都编有营。明代京军曾编有33个营。清末新军设步兵、马兵(骑兵)、炮兵、工兵、辎重等营。中华民国时期,营被保留,隶属于团。中国人民解放军自建军起,就设营一级组织。初期,主要是步兵营。随着装备的发展,营的种类逐渐增多。 世界上有些国家,从17世纪起 ,营成为步兵部队固定的一级组织。人数为500~1000人不等。在现代,美、英军的营编有较多的战斗支援和勤务保障分队,具有独立、持续和机动作战能力 。美军机械化步兵营,辖3个机械化步兵连、1个战斗支援连,1个营部连等,编890余人。英军摩托化步兵营,辖4个摩托化步兵连、1个营部连、1个管理连等,平时编650人,战时编800余人。 |
