性质:用吸附、涂敷、聚合、化学反应等方法把活性基团或催化物质等附着在电极表面,保护电极或改进电极特征功能的工艺过程。如硅电极能使阳光转换为电流,但在水溶液中硅将溶解生成二氧化硅并在电极表面形成绝缘体。因此光照几秒后电极即钝化失效;用三氯甲硅烷基二茂铁之类化合物与经空气氧化的硅表面上的羟基相作用,生成覆盖层,使体系进行如下循环作用:表面二茂铁表面二茂铁阳离子,Fe(CN)64-的光氧化得以进行,从而使硅电极耐用。
