| 双交种(double cross) 由A、B、C和D四个血缘不同的玉米自交系先组成A×B和C×D两个单交组合，再把它们进行杂交而成的杂交种。可用(A×B)×(C×D)表示。 用两个不同单交来配制双交种，以解决生产用种子成本高的问题是美国D.f.琼斯于1918年最先提出的。从30年代初期开始，玉米双交种在美国农业生产上得到广泛应和。中国在50年代开始推广双交种，一般比当地优良的推广品种增产20%。 |
