性质:受应力的固体放在有腐蚀性的液体氛围中所产生的或加速的开裂现象。在这种情况下发生开裂或破坏所需的应力要比没有液体氛围时小得多。高聚物材料在受应力或加工成型过程中造成的残余应力较大的时候,当它暴露在某种环境或是接触某些化学药品时很容易发生开裂。非晶高聚物如聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯、聚苯乙烯和聚碳酸酯等暴露在某些溶剂中时发生开裂。聚乙烯、聚丙烯在某些洗涤剂或油的作用下也容易发生开裂。
