BACKGROUND & AIM: To study the inhibiting effects of α-tocopheryl succinate(α-TOS) on the growth of Ehrlich ascitesocarcinoma in vivo and explore the mechanisms.
材料与方法建立Ehrlich氏腹水癌小鼠实验动物模型,设阴性对照组、肿瘤模型对照组、α-TOS实验组(20、40和80mg/kg)和环磷酰胺对照组,观察α-TOS对Ehrlich氏腹水癌小鼠生存期的延长作用,检测各实验组动物血液学指标、NK细胞活性、T细胞亚群,应用DNA琼脂糖凝胶电泳检测α-TOS诱导肿瘤细胞凋亡的作用。

性质：白色或淡黄色叶状结晶或粉末。熔点74℃，沸点176-177℃（2.27kPa），闪点164℃。溶于醇、醚、丙酮、氯仿和乙酸，微溶于水。有苯甲醛样气味，遇光渐变红色。

制备方法：以N,N-二甲基苯胺为原料，可采用两种方法生产。（1）以乌洛托品反应生成亚甲基-N,N-二甲氨基苄胺，转位生成N,N-二甲基亚苄甲胺，然后水解得产品。（2）与二甲基甲酰胺在三氯氧磷存在下反应。另外，还有一种实验室制备方法是，以N,N-二甲基苯胺、亚硝酸钠、甲醛为原料制备。

用途：染料中间体和分析试剂。该品用于测定吲哚、粪臭素、尿蓝母、色氨酸和麦角碱等，还用以区别血清发疹和猩红热。在染料方面，可用来合成压热敏染料。也用于生产阳离子艳红G（C.I.Basic Red 52）。
