（术语）对于所现之化身，而称能现之本身为本地。能现所现，相望重重，故本地亦重重而不一定，唯佛之实相法身，即穷极之本地，越之更无能现之实身。故曰地法身。本地即法身也。道安之舍利礼文曰：“本地法身，法界塔婆。”演密钞二曰：“本地法身者，即实相法身也。一真实相为万化之本，犹如于地为万物之依，故曰本地。言法身者，谓此实相能轨持万化。即此轨持，假名为身。法即身故，本地即法身。”法华文句九曰：“诠量本地三佛功德。”
