位于琼山市东北部，距府城镇19公里，海口以东24公里的洋面上，有一个幽静而美丽的海湾，有如洗的蓝天、清澈的海水和细软的沙滩，当地建有海滨游泳场、国际体育村、泰国花果园、阳光城度假村、世界漫游公园5个旅游度假区，有烧烤和海上游乐等服务项目。
桂林洋海滨旅游区附近有东寨港红树林自然保护区和“海底村庄”，据考证后者是明代琼州大地震时陷落在海底的72个村庄的遗迹。
交通：在海口港乘船，8海里便可达。
