性质:又称屈挠疲劳。材料在交变弯曲应力作用下发生损伤乃至断裂的过程。在疲劳初期,内部结构将发生改变,接着出现疲劳裂纹的成核和扩展,当疲劳裂纹失稳扩展时就导致疲劳断裂。在作弯曲疲劳试验时,按控制变量,可分为应力疲劳和应变疲劳两类。应力疲劳时,应力幅值恒定在一较低值,加载的频率高,断裂周次也高;应变疲劳时,应力幅值恒定在较高值,加载频率低,断裂周次也低。弯曲疲劳是工程实际中经常会发生的问题,弯曲疲劳试验也是材料疲劳试验方法中比较成熟的一种方法。
