On Kanghsi dynasty, the Wucai porcelains overglazed had invented blue and black materials overglazed, broke through the craft technology which in Ming Dynasty the Wucai must mixed with the blue-and-whi.
其中康熙朝的釉上五彩，发明了釉上蓝彩和墨彩，突破了明代五彩必须与釉下青花相结合的工艺技术，使五彩瓷的发展趋向完美的阶段；同时，清代创新品种有珐琅彩和粉彩，瓷胎珐琅彩始于康熙朝，是在景泰蓝制作工艺的启发下，在烧制成的瓷胎上再用从海外引进的珐琅彩料绘纹饰，成为当时的主要装饰品种。

补充资料：西汉五彩画屏风
西汉五彩画屏风 湖南长沙马王堆汉墓出土“遗策”记载有“木五彩画屏风一，长五尺，高三尺”。可知西汉画屏风有五彩的。该墓同时出土彩绘木屏风一件，虽似明器，较粗糙，但可见西汉“五彩画屏风”的大致真实面貌。
