身以积聚为义，谓积聚诸根而成身也。菩萨观察所有身中，从我所起，诸不善法，皆悉远离；又当从顶至踵，遍观其身，而悉无我。是身不净，臭秽可恶。作是观时，身中所起贪爱诸欲，及计我想等执，悉不可得，则能成就一切善法，远离一切恶法也。
