METHODS: From January 2005 to December 2005, the clinical data of 214 patients who underwent haemorrhoidectomy were retrospectively reviewed: 91 patients with PPH(group PPH) and 123 patients with Milligan-Morgan operations(group MM).
目的：探讨吻合器痔上粘膜环形切除术(PPH)和传统的外剥内扎术(Milligan-Morgan术，MM术)在治疗痔疮方面的结果比较。

The combining use of external stripping and internal ligation and "<" and /or">" auxiliary incision were conducted in the observing group while the Milligan-Morgan operation was used in the control group.
