(exercise-induced muscle fatigue)是指运动引起肌肉产生最大收缩力量或者最大输出功率暂时性下降的生理现象。
在持续性和间断性的最大、亚最大以及中小强度运动中,运动性肌肉疲劳的发生和发展伴随全部运动过程,但疲劳发展的速度与运动负荷强度大小有关,肌肉疲劳达到极限,称为耗竭。运动性肌肉疲劳既是集体对运动负荷所做出的一种必然性反应,同时也是进一步引起机体产生适应性变化、提高其运动能力的有效刺激。
