The procedure of modified levater muscle shortening for the treatment of congenital ptosis;

Clinical analysis of treat congenital blepharoptosis with shortening palpabralis;

Treatment of blepharoptosis of upper lid with shortening levator palpebrae superioris via skin incision;

Levator advancement was performed on each patient.

Methods:Maximun shortening of upper eyelid levator muscle and modified frontal muscle flap suspension were performed in 61 eyes of 46 patients with severe congenital ptosis(0～3 mm).
