mediastinal teratoma
纵隔内的一种常见肿瘤。被认为由第3对鳃裂及陷凹区域的细胞群脱离了原始形成体影响的全能性胚胎细胞，在纵隔中增殖发展成为肿瘤。绝大多数出现于前纵隔，分上皮囊肿、皮样囊肿和畸胎瘤三类。上皮囊肿的囊内衬以单层鳞状上皮，皮样囊肿的囊内衬以鳞状上皮且含有形成头发及脂肪性物质的皮肤附件成分。畸胎瘤多为实性，内含外、中或内胚层组织的衍生物，如毛发、牙齿、软骨、平滑肌、支气管或肠壁等。部分畸胎瘤可恶变。体积小时无症状；体积大及恶变者有支气管、气管压迫、上腔静脉压迫症状。靠胸部X线检查、胸部CT检查、胸部MRI检查可做出诊断，组织学检查可确诊。治疗原则为手术切除。
