无土栽培
soilless culture
    不用土壤而用溶液培养植物的方法。包括水培和砂培。19世纪中期发展了这种方法。到20世纪30年代开始把这种技术应用到农业生产上。无土栽培中用人工配制的培养液,供给植物矿物营养的需要。常用的培养液有克诺普培养液、霍格兰培养液等。
   无土栽培所用的培养液可以循环使用。配好的培养液经过植物对离子的选择性吸收,某些离子的浓度降低得比另一些离子快,各元素间比例和pH值都发生变化,逐渐不适合植物需要。所以每隔一段时间,要用NaOH或HCl调节培养液的pH,并补充浓度降低较多的元素。于pH和某些离子的浓度可用选择性电极连续测定。
