This paper explores the modulation of quasi-biweekly oscillation(QBWO) on tropical cyclogenesis over the western North Pacific(WNP),using the Japanese reanalysis(JRA) daily data,NOAA/NCEP data and tropical cyclones(TCs) dataset obtained from the Joint Typhoon Warming Center.
