While the ERA40 project by European Center for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts(ECMWF) provides ozone reanalysis data,in order to use the data more effectively and reasonably,a comparison analysis is done for the ERA40 and Halogen Occultation Experiment(HALOE) data.

zhongqi tianqi yubao中期天气预报(medium一range foreea-sting)未来3天以上到10天或15天的天气预报。它的预报时效介于短期和长期天气预报之间。中国中期天气预报按预报时效分有候预报、周预报、旬预报等,预报项目有气温、降水、寒潮、台风等。它同农业的关系密切。其预报方法多采用天气学方法、统计学方法;近年来正发展数值天气预报方法。中期夭气预报中,考虑的重点是大气长波尺度运动的稳定性和天气系统的演变规律,根据它们与各地天气的关系进行归纳与分类,划分环流型,建立天气过程模式。由于中期天气预报介于短期和长期天气预报之间,因此,不仅预报方法有相似,而且,涉及的问题也相近。如短期预报中考虑的气旋、反气旋等,长期预报中考虑的海陆驻波、极涡等,中期预报中都要考虑。中期预报还涉及长波和超长波的相互作用。(苏炳凯)
