闪长岩 diorite 一种中性深成侵入岩。主要由中性斜长石(中长石)和普通角闪石组成,有时含少量辉石和黑云母。副矿物有磷灰石、磁铁矿、钛铁矿和榍石等。深灰或浅绿色。粒状结构。如碱性长石增加可过渡为二长岩。典型的闪长岩中,斜长石内的钙长石含量不大于50%,普通角闪石与辉石相比占绝对优势,镁铁矿物总量占整个岩石的50%以下。依所含暗色矿物种类可划分为黑云母闪长岩、角闪石闪长岩、普通辉石闪长岩和紫苏辉石闪长岩等。与闪长岩有关的矿产主要为铁、铜、钴、铅、锌等,如中国长江中、下游的某些铁矿均与闪长岩类有成因上的关系。中细粒、新鲜的闪长岩可作建筑石材。 |
