补充资料：白三叶也需要常修剪
白三叶又名三叶草、白车轴草，属豆科车轴草属多年生草本植物。
白三叶原产于欧洲及亚洲小亚细亚地区，由于其适应性强，匍匐生长，节间着地生根，生长快，绿期长，已在我国大部分地区引种，是一种较理想的园林绿化草坪型地被植物。
由于对白三叶草的生长习性缺乏了解，不少人认为不能刈割修剪，否则会枯死。其实白三叶草同禾本科草坪草一样，也应经常修剪。因白三叶草生长快，密度大，根部长期不通风，极易发生病虫害。尤其进入开花结实期，花莛高出叶面，残花败果干枯，大大降低了观赏价值。此时，应采用剪草机剪去植株高度的三分之一，然后浇透水。修剪后新叶长出，不仅使草坪复绿更新，根部通风换气，避免霉变，同时也使叶面上的病虫害得到清除，还可回收部分种子。剪下的叶子既可加工成饲料，又可沤制有机肥料还田。因此，常修剪白三叶可以一举多得。（源自《中国花卉报》2004.06.15）
