| 蒙古羊 Mongolian sheep 粗毛绵羊品种。在中国数量最多、分布最广。原产蒙古高原。由于分布地区不同，外形和性能差异较大。一般公羊有螺旋形角，母羊多无角，体格中等，短脂尾（见图）。被毛多为全白色 ， 或头 、 颈 、 四肢为黑色或褐色。产羔率105％～110％。每年春、秋季剪毛两次，年平均剪毛量 1～1.5千克。屠宰率45％～50％。体质结实，适应性强 ，能耐粗放的管理。蒙古羊的分支有乌珠穆沁羊和巴音布鲁克羊。
