In order to understand forest cover situation and species resources,biodiversity conservation and existent problems of Wulingshan nature reserve in Beijing,5 times of survey from May to August of 2001-2004 had been conducted by routine survey,sampling survey,species collection,and 177 timber standard plots,969 shrub plots and 1990 herbal plots had been set up.
为探讨北京雾灵山自然保护区的植被现状与物种资源、生物多样性保护现状及生存问题,于2001~2004年5~8月,先后5次,通过线路调查、样地调查、标本采集等手段,共设置乔木标准地177块、灌木样方969块、草本样方1 990块。

Yunwushan Nature Reserve
中国第2个草原保护区。 属黄土高原长芒草群系保留较好的典型地区,对开展草原生态系统的定位研究,探索草原、畜牧、水土保持间的关系有重要科研价值。位于宁夏固原县东北，为中温带半干旱黄土丘陵低山区。已划定自然保护区面积1300公顷。海拔多在1800～1900米，顶峰2148米。年均温6℃,年降水量约350～400毫米，土壤主要为淡黑垆土。有种子植物181种,其中草本植物140多种，包括饲用植物110种，药用植物41种；脊椎动物80种。共有典型草原、草甸草原、荒漠草原、中生落叶阔叶灌丛和耐旱落叶灌丛等5个植被亚型,11个重要群系。其中以典型草原的长芒草群系占优势，为黄土高原丛生禾草草原的代表类型。其次为百里香、铁杆蒿、茭蒿、委陵菜等。经几年来的保护，草场生产力已由亩产鲜草100～150千克提高到400～600千克，是良好的常年牧场。
