性质:天然降水在下渗到地表风化壳或土壤的过程中,其所含的化学物质(主要有氧、二氧化碳、硝酸盐、硫酸盐和氯化物等)所发生的氧化、溶解和下渗的作用。易溶性盐类(如硝酸盐、氯化物)经淋溶会大量进入水中,下渗到土壤深层;难溶性盐(如钙、镁的碳酸盐)较难进入水中,且下渗距离小。研究化学淋溶作用,可了解化学物质在土壤、风化垂直方向上的迁移规律,如酸雨中含硫化合物对土壤污染的问题等。
