By discoursing the low-temperature anti-crack performance of asphalt mixture paved on bridge deck by means of low-temperature bending test estimating method,this paper proposes comprehensive technical parameters reflecting strength and deformation as a reference for design and construction of bridge deck pavement.

Compared with basal and modified asphalt mixture,the performances of high modulus asphalt mixture,including high temperature stability,low temperature crack resistance and dynamic modulus in different temperature and variable loading frequency,are analyzed by dint of experiment and study which considers the material ingredient and designing methods.

To ensure low temperature anti-cracking performance of asphalt treated base,the low temperature anti-cracking performance of three kinds of aggregate graduation ATB30 were comprehensively evaluated by freeze and thaw low temperature (-15 ℃、-5 ℃、5 ℃、15 ℃) split test and low temperature(-15 ℃、-10 ℃、-5 ℃、0 ℃、5 ℃、10 ℃、15 ℃) bend test.

This paper carries out the bending beam and creep deformation tests under low temperature for the different aggregate grading materials in stress absorbing layers with inventive Sampave asphalt and the other two modified asphalts and then analyzes the influences of asphalt binder and aggregate grading on low temperature anti-cracking performances.

It is found that modified asphalt added 4 percent SBS is able to improve high-temperature stability,low-temperature anti-cracking performance and high-temperature susceptility of petroleum asphalt,which is enough to satisfy the performance stand.
