This paper aims at the large aircraft and its structure characteristics,and by comparing the man assembly system with the machine assembly system and analyzing relation curves of automatic assembly and assembly cost,points out the meaning of automatic assembly technology which ensures long life,high efficiency and low cost of large aircraft structure,both in research and in manufacture.

The present development and tendency of new materials used in large aircraft are introduced.

It is argued that while developing airborne equipment for China s large aircraft should mainly rely on our own research and development(R&D),attention should also be paid to possible international cooperation of various forms for win-win purposes.

Through analyzing the necessity and feasibility of developing the avionics system of Chinese large airplane and the developing trend of avionics technology,this paper proposes the idea for developing the Integrated Modular Avionics(IMA)of Chinese large airplane,and gives some suggestions for the development plan.

The advanced airport pavement design method has changed to mechanics-empirical method from empirical method in order to satisfy the requirements of New Generation Large Aircraft (NGLA).
