In this paper, the construction technology to use cement deep mixing (CDM) reinforced soil mass for the temporary bulkhead wall in a revetment modification works is introduced, and the application of CDM method creates a precedent for the revetment slope base soil mass reinforcement by using CDM method.

Alongside a urban scenic river,four sections different in embankment(cobblestone,clay,bondstone and concrete posts) were selected to study quality of the river water,water at the interface between the embankment and the river water,and functional microbial ecological diversity at the interface.
