Researches on Teaching Practice in Foreign Trade Documents and Correspondence Course;

In the process of economic globalization,foreign trade document as a key element in international trade becomes a practical training course in colleges and universities.

This paper,based on the characteristics of business correspondence,attempts to illustrate the application of Cooperative Principle in the translation of business correspondence with some concrete examples.

By analyzing the features of the course of business correspondence, the writer puts out three teaching suggestions as follows: to strengthen the basis of International Practical Business and Practical English; to create the circumstance and focus on practice; to summarize the rules of business letter writing so as to stimulate the interest of the students, thus to improve the teaching quality.

This paper analyses the substantial use of politeness in Foreign Trade Correspondence in terms of Pragmatics and probes into the relationship between linguistic characteristics and politeness principles, it also indicates that politeness underneath language behavior is conditional and subject to such fact.

According to these principles,first of all,it is important to have the right attitude towards the general features of foreign trade correspondence writing.

Refusal strategies in foreign trade correspondence can be divided into direct refusals and conventional refusals.

Starting from the connotative elements of project curriculum,the article analyses the significance,purpose,detail contents,assessment methods and teaching methods of developing business letters course.

<Abstrcat> This article will make some research on how to learn business letters through three aspects: to know some about the characters of the business letters, to understand the circles of foreign trade, to master the ways of learning.
