The harm brought by sand laden wind can be prevented and economy can be raised through planting fruit trees in aeolian region in north Henan Province, while selection and regeneration of cultivars are the key to increase the yield and quality of fruit.

In order to improve small-aged Simon poplar tree at large area in north of Shanxi,we studied a new regeneration model that a scion or two scions grafting on remaining stump,then covered grafted union with wet soil(10 cm～20 cm above ground).
雁北风沙区有大面积的小叶杨"小老树",为了更新小叶杨"小老树"进行了单株嫁接和双株嫁接、湿土堆埋10 cm和20 cm的改造试验,提出了新的模式,即以杨树良种"中金杨"为换代品种,采用伐桩嫁接技术,通过双株嫁接和堆埋湿土20 cm等易于操作的更新和管理措施,嫁接更新改造成活率达到96%,成活植株产生自生根系,生长正常,更新成本是植苗造林更新的1/3,具有推广意义。
