In conjunction with construction practices at the West Access line,the project combines three lines in parallel,overhead crossing of two lines,steep gradient,small radi- us of curvature,and shallow overburden that amount to multiple problems integrated into one set which is also rarely seen in the same running section during the construction of Shanghai Rail Transit in its history.
