【群体行为学派】管理理论学派之一，它以社会学、人类学、社会心理学等学科为基础，从20年代末的霍桑试验以及著名实验心理学家库特·勒温(KurtU衍n)的群体动力学发展而来的。今天群体行为作为区别于个体行为和组织行为的一个重要领域被包括在组织行为学(OB)之中。美国的许多社会心理学家和组织行为学家都对群体行为的研究有所贡献。例如，皮尔尼克(S.R加ck)提出的群体规范分析法，莫雷诺(J .L.M~)的社会关系计量学(又叫群体成员关系分析法)，沙赫特(阮b蛇hter)的群体内聚力和生产率之间关系的著名实验，以及哈罗德·莱维特(凡的ld .J.L犯vitt)的信息沟通网络的研究等。 群体作为一个组织的个体一群体一组织三级系统的中介，可以定义为:“在一段时间内，能够正常互相进行交往的人群，其人数应相对少些，使每人能与本群体内所有其他的人进行面对面的，而不是通过别人的第二手的交往。”群体行为学派着重研究各种小群体(其人数在二三人到ro余人不等，在企业中即为工作群体，如班组等)的行为公式，其中包括群体的吸引力、群体的内聚力与士气、群体结构与目标、群体规范和压力、从众行为和冲突与竞争、正式群体与非正式群体的关系，以及群体的正式信息沟通与非正式信息沟通(小道消息)、个人一群体一组织三级系统之间的相互依赖和作用关系等。 群体行为学派主要是从社会、心理以及文化背景方面来研究群体的诸种特性，旨在提高群体的工作效率和群体成员的满足感。群体的行为并不是个体行为的简单总和，群体的目标也不是个人目标的叠加，群体决策亦不同于个人决策，即都有其特殊的规则和性质，因而有必要通过观察、实验等方法来分析和了解这一特殊的社会组合。
