Using the ANSYS software,some fluid thermodynamic FEM models of EGR coolers were established,the temperature fields of the fluids in the EGR coolers were simulated and verified by the experimental results in literatures,and furthermore,the cooling efficiencies of the EGR coolers with different radiators and different number of cooling pipes were analyzed and compared.

To improve diesel exhaust and reduce NOx emission,a cooled EGR system was added based on the original digital electronic governor.
