“前卫”-3是新型的激光制导防空导弹系统,通过激光测距仪/指示器照射日标的反射光波寻的。它具有如下特点;强大的超低空防空/反导能力、对抗所有电磁干扰的能力,全方位攻击能力,结构简单、体积小、重量轻、易于安装、低成本、适合大规模使用。它主要用做各型水面舰船的内层反导系统,或者作为轻型车载系统遂行机动防空或要地防空/反导防御。“前卫”-3主要性能参数: 弹长2.1米,弹重23”千克,速度750米/秒,最大作战斜距8000米最小作战斜距800米)最大作战高度5000米,最小作战高度4米,单发命中概率;85%,激光半主动寻的制导,能够对抗所有光电和电磁干扰,最大跟踪角速度大于等于]5度/秒,采用激光近炸引信+触发引信,弹头杀伤半径3米。
