性质:处于层流流动状态下的边界层。例如,当黏性流体由一平板壁面上流过时,则紧贴壁面的流体,将附着在该壁面上而不滑脱,于是在垂直于流动的方向上即建立起一个速度梯度,流体的流速会由壁面处的零值迅速加大而接近一定值。在壁面近旁形成的具有上述特点的一层流体层即称为边界层。由于剪应力对开始形成的边界层之外流体的持续作用,使边界层逐渐加厚,在边界层厚度较小时,边界层内流体的流动为层流,此时的边界层即称为层流边界层。
