| 巴西乙醇计划 Brasilian Fuel Alcohol Programme 巴西政府为替代进口石油而进行的一项国家计划 。 在1973年世界石油危机的冲击下，巴西政府为减轻对进口石油的依赖，利用本国丰富的甘蔗资源，从1975年起开始实施以乙醇（酒精）代替汽油的计划。利用甘蔗糖蜜发酵制取乙醇的技术在巴西有较长的历史，早在1903年巴西就曾有过一次工业利用酒精的全国大会，至1923年巴西年产工业酒精达1.5亿升。为了以酒精代替汽车用油，巴西政府采取优惠政策，鼓励使用酒精，发展乙醇汽车。20世纪70～80年代巴西乙醇汽车逐年增多。80年代末，全国纯乙醇车达450万辆以上，掺乙醇车也超过 300万辆。此项计划使巴西成功地度过了石油危机，并促进了甘蔗业的生产，创造了大量就业机会。90年代以后，随着巴西国内石油生产的增长，政府已对乙醇计划作了相应的调整。 |
