串珠藻属 Batrachospermum 红藻门串珠藻科的一属。植物体串珠状,具明显的中轴、节和节间;并有节丝和节间丝,具胶质常为浅蓝绿色、橄榄色或紫色。细胞具几个盘状或长圆形色素体,一个蛋白核。果孢子萌发成微观的丝状体系,这种体系或由繁枝丝体形成壳状,或为一很疏松的组织。此微观叶状体其后直接长成直立的串珠藻藻体。本属分布较广,有50种,均系淡水产,中国有7种和1变型。常见种之一为外果串珠藻。
