“白杨—m2”洲际导弹
“白杨”洲际弹道导弹在俄军三位一体的核打击力量中占有极为重要的地位，目前它正被改进为“白杨—m”竖井式和机动牵引式导弹系统。虽然这种导弹还能再服役20~25年，但俄罗斯已开始准备实施“白杨—m2”未来改进型计划。届时，“白杨—m2”的战术技术性能更加优越，射程将从1.1万公里增加到2万公里，使用功率更强大的新型固体燃料发动机，将使导弹以比现在快2倍的速度升空，敌方航天侦察设备根本来不及引导地面拦截。
“白杨—m2”的核弹头数量将从现在的3~6个增加到12个，全部是主动制导核弹头，飞行中战斗部会释放同样数量的自主分弹头。俄设计师还准备在未来洲际弹道导弹上装备机动性更强、威胁更大的战斗模块，保障大幅提高突破敌方反导防御系统的能力，为此，“白杨—m2”预计将装配10个辅助发动机，使其飞行轨迹更难预测。
此外，“白杨—m2”新型导弹还拥有强大的反激光防护装置，以保障弹载电子装置在各种电子对抗中毫发无损。新型导弹将装配在功率超过1000马力的牵引车上，移动速度达到50公里/小时，备用行程600公里。
