    分子式C14H14N3O3SNa,分子量327.34。橙红色鳞状晶体或粉末。微溶于水,较易溶于热水,不溶于乙醇。0.1%的水溶液是常用的测定pH值的指示剂,变色范围为pH3.1~4.4,由红色变黄色。也用作酸碱滴定的指示剂和测定水的碱度。也用于印染纺织品。可由对氨基苯磺酸钠经重氮化后与二甲苯胺偶合制成。
