Three times of red tide happened in the dominant area of red tide monitoring in Bo- hai Bay from May to August in 2006 which were resulted from the increase of Heterosigma akashiwo,Heterosigma akashiwo-Chattonelta marina and Noctiluca scintillans.
2006年5月至8月渤海湾赤潮重点监控区共发生3次赤潮,引发赤潮的赤潮生物分别为赤潮异弯藻(Heterosigma akashiwo)、赤潮异弯藻-海洋卡盾藻(Heterosigma akashiwo- Chattonelta marina)、夜光藻(Noctiluca scintillans)。

On the basis of the monitoring data of nutrients ( Si, N and P ) in surface seawater from April to September ( 2002 —2005 ) in the red tide-monitoring area of Xiiangshan Harbor, variations on nutrients and the characteristics of their structure in the red tide-monitoring area were analyzed and discussed in periods of high frequency for the red tide.
