In order to clarify the time space distribution law of the seams of Permo-Carboniferous Period in Pingdingshan, Yuzhou and Ruzhou Mining Areas, the modern stratigraphy, sedimentology, sequence stratigraphy, and the geophysics exploration theory and method were applied to study of the comparison among the coal measures in the three coalfields.
为了查明平顶山、禹州、汝州矿区石炭二叠纪煤层的时空分布规律,采用现代地层学、沉积学、层序地层学和地球物理勘探学理论和方法研究了3个煤田含煤岩系煤岩层对比。

Rujigou coalfield is famous for the output of anthracite coal produced from the Jurassic strata,where the metamorphism degree is the highest in the Mesozoic coal of Ningxia area.

The Huozhou mining area in Shanxi Province is one of unwonted low sulfur coking coal bases in the country.
山西省霍州矿区是全国少有的低硫焦煤基地之一,由于矿区处于郭庄岩溶水系统的径流带和排泄区,地下水富水性强,矿区水文地质条件复杂,加之构造十分发育,断裂构造平均91条/km2,陷落柱平均60个/km2,水害类型复杂多样。

The resources and reserves of lower coal group account for more than 53% in total of Huozhou mining area.
霍州矿区下组煤炭资源储量占总储量的53%以上,但由于下组煤层底板标高普遍低于其下部奥陶系石灰岩岩溶裂隙含水层水位,加之矿区内构造发育,水文地质条件复杂,对下组煤的开采构成了威胁。
