利用金属或半导体的电阻值随温度变化的原理制成的传感器,是温度测量仪表中常用的一种温度测温元件。金属热电阻的电阻值随温度上升而增大,常用的有铂热电阻(测温范围为-200~+850℃)、铜热电阻(-50~+150℃)和镍热电阻(-60~+180℃)3种。热电阻大多是用直径 0.04~0.1毫米的纯金属丝绕在片状或棒状的云母、玻璃、陶瓷或胶木骨架上制成的。在工业应用中它一般装在金属保护套管内,以防止损坏;也有做成铠装的。热电阻的外形与热电偶相似。铂热电阻复现性好,性能稳定,精确度高,在精密测温和控温中广泛应用。半导体热敏电阻也是常用的一种热电阻,它的电阻值随温度上升而减小。其特点是灵敏度高,体积小,反应速度快,但互换性较差,测温范围为-100~+300℃。
