The deep gas reservoir of Western Sichuan Depression features in super depth,ultrahigh pressure,and complicated trap formation,so fracturing gets difficult.

With the progress made in exploration, Daqing exploration area has entered the exploration stage of thin interbedding lithologic oil and gas reservoirs with low-permeability and compact gas layers, and the fracturing and stimulation techniques are becoming the conventional techniques for increase of production and reserves.
