深土镇位于漳浦县东南部,北邻湖西、赤土2乡,东邻赤湖镇,西邻旧镇镇,南邻竹屿盐场和六鳌镇,东南临将军湾海域,地势北高南低,最高的东平村在灶山主峰(海拔580米)之下,南部的深土村一带为海积平原。全镇总面积701平方公里,海岸线长84公里。

深土镇是农业大镇。全镇有耕地40064亩。近年来,加强以水利建设为重点的农业基础设施建设,组织实施总投资达300万元的国家级农业节水灌溉工程项目,改善和恢复灌溉面积5500亩,加上维修清理渠道,使受益农田面积达1万亩。

调整和优化农业结构。实施浯江片万亩农业综合开发,基本形成了以蔬菜、芦笋、食用菌、水果、紫菜养殖为主的农业结构,形成万亩蔬菜,万亩番薯,万亩花生油料,万亩水果,5千亩水产养殖,5千亩芦笋等六大生产基地。洋葱、番薯、花菜、芥菜、包菜等各种农副产品运销东北及俄、日等国。全镇拥有一支1500人的营销队伍,拥有100辆汽车的运输队,在全国各地建立130个蔬菜经销批发点。
